That's right, we will be able to perform alignments on crew cab long box trucks....not something every shop can handle.
It can also lift 12,000 pounds which pretty much covers most 1 ton pick up trucks and commercial vans even when they are loaded with tools. And for you Porsche and BMW people, this lift has the optional ramp extenders which allows low vehicles to access the lift without bottoming out. We are ready for almost anything! That's right....we have them available in just about every model and size you could possibly need. Whether it's the Michelin Defender, Michelin Premier, Michelin Primacy...or if you have a truck the Michelin LTX.
Now, all tires have siping but on some tires the siping only penetrates halfway through the tread block. This means that on a 50k mile tire, you start to lose your traction at 25k miles...way before your tire is officially worn out. What good is a tire if it doesn't have winter traction? Exactly.
Michelin's on the other hand, have full depth siping which allows them to have full traction for the entire life of the tire. Now, you can have the same performance in year 5 as you had when you first bought the tires. That means shorter stopping distances in traffic jams, better winter traction when it snows, better traction when you are starting from a stoplight or stop sign, plus better control when you steer around a corner or pull into a parking place. And all of this adds up to a much safer experience. Ever stopped quickly, only to find that you were within 6 inches of hitting the car in front of you? Well, better tires would have prevented that...worse tires would have caused an accident. Ever tried to accelerate when the light turns green only to have your wheels spin in the slush? Once again, siping helps to prevent that. If this is starting to make sense to you then it might be time to evaluate whether your tires are performing the way you need them to. For me, Michelin tires are the best bang for the buck out there. They offer full siping, 70-80k mile treadwear warranty and some of the quietest and nicest riding tires out there. Per mile of siping that you get, Michelins are cheaper than any other tire out there. You might pay a little more, but you get a lot more. If you have questions or want someone to take a look at your tires...just give us a buzz at Motolux and someone will be sure to take care of you. - Joe Need a shop that can do a Synthetic Mobil One oil change? We do them and we are conveniently located in St. Louis Park, MN and pretty darn close to Edina.
All of our Mobil1 oil changes use manufacturer spec oil and viscosity plus OEM oil filters. It costs a little more but it's really good for the car. Some manufacturers, namely Mercedes-Benz require Mobil1 and it's printed on the oil cap and in the manual. The problem is that there aren't many shops out there who stock Mobil1 motor oil. Motolux does and we buy it it larger quantities so we can get better pricing, which we can pass on to you. So if you are a stickler for your motor oil or if you have a car or truck that requires Mobil1 oil changes, give us a call. We're happy to answer your questions or set up a time for you to stop by. - Joe |
